Understanding and mastering the performance requirements and related testing methods of cosmetic plastic hose packaging can improve the faster and better development of the cosmetic plastic hose packaging industry, and ensure the safety of cosmetic quality. So, let's take a look at the testing plan for plastic hoses in cosmetics.
Plastic hoses for cosmetics, recommended for a complete testing plan
1. Testing of barrier performance of plastic hoses for cosmetics
Barrier property refers to the effect of packaging materials on blocking permeation substances such as gases (such as oxygen) and liquids (water vapor). Barrier performance is an important factor affecting product shelf life and quality.
2. Strength testing of plastic hoses for cosmetics
Strength testing includes indicators such as the tensile strength of packaging materials, peel strength of composite films, heat sealing strength, tear strength, and puncture resistance. Tensile strength refers to the stress value that a material experiences before fracture. After testing, it was found that the selected packaging material has insufficient mechanical strength and can effectively solve packaging damage and breakage under external forces.
3. Sealing performance test
Through sealing performance testing, it can be ensured that the entire product packaging is well sealed, preventing leakage caused by poor sealing performance of the product and causing deterioration of the packaged material.
4. Headspace gas analysis
Measurement of oxygen and carbon dioxide gas content and mixing ratio in sealed packaging bags, bottles, cans and other packaging materials; Quickly and accurately evaluate the content and proportion of gas components in packaging materials in production lines, warehouses, laboratories, and other places, guide production, and ensure the realization of product shelf life.
5. Cosmetic plastic hoses - Impact resistance test
The impact resistance of cosmetic plastic hoses ensures that the selected packaging material can effectively protect the product. There are two testing methods for impact resistance: dart impact and pendulum impact.
6. Tear performance test
The packaging of the product may be torn by external forces during storage and transportation, and sufficient crack propagation resistance can reduce fracture transmission and avoid packaging leakage.
7. Surface smoothness of friction coefficient of plastic hoses for cosmetics
The inner and outer surfaces of the film must have appropriate sliding properties to ensure good opening and smooth transportation and packaging on high-speed production lines.
8. Measurement of thickness of plastic hoses for cosmetics
Thickness is the fundamental indicator for detecting thin films. Uneven thickness not only affects the tensile strength and barrier properties of the film, but also affects the post-processing of the film.
9. Print inspection
(1) Conduct testing tests on the adhesion strength of printing ink layers, as well as the adhesion strength of plastic films and glass paper decorative printed materials (including composite film printed materials) produced by photo printing technology.
(2) Testing tests for the wear resistance of printing ink layer, photosensitive layer of PS plate, and surface coating of related products. Analyze issues such as poor scratch resistance of printed materials, ink layer detachment, low brush resistance of PS plates, and poor coating hardness of other products.
(3) Wear resistance test of printing ink layer.
10. Packaged solvent residue detection
The residual amount of packaging bags is directly related to the safety of users. To ensure safety, it is necessary to use a gas chromatograph to detect the residual amount.
